Cumberland County, Tenn. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office issued a felony warrant for Misty Ware on Wednesday. Ware is the biological mother of six children who vanished from a home in the Crossville area last week.

Investigators state that Ware took the children on October 22 despite not holding legal custodial rights under a current court order. She faces a charge of custodial interference. Authorities have not located Ware or the children as of this report.

A red Chrysler Town & Country minivan, believed to be the vehicle used for the transport, was recovered in Cumberland County on October 27. Detectives have executed several search warrants and interviewed numerous witnesses during the ongoing probe. The department continues to coordinate with state and federal partners to locate the missing family.

The six children are Anahi Ware, 16; Maximo Ware, 10; Abalino Almaraz-Ware, 8; Luisa Almaraz-Ware, 5; Paloma Ware, 3; and Felix Ware, 9 months old. Investigators indicate the children may be in danger.

Sgt. Thomas Henderson of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is accepting information at 931-484-6176. Residents may also submit anonymous tips to Crossville-Cumberland County Crime Stoppers by calling 931-200-1173.
