A 16-year-old girl remains in critical condition after gunfire injured four teenagers in North Nashville on Sunday.

Police reported that shots were fired just before 12:30 a.m. near Jefferson Street, striking four individuals aged 14 to 18. Officers stated that some of the gunfire originated from a vehicle.

DaRon Garrett, the owner of the building formerly known as House of Legends, said the event was held without his permission. He discovered the gathering on Sunday morning after a friend notified him of the incident. Garrett described finding a bloody heel and shoe in the parking lot, along with abandoned liquor bottles and clothing left behind by the crowd.

Garrett said he estimated at least 200 teens were present in the fenced-in parking lot, which he was renovating with plans to reopen. He noted that the organizer was charging an entry fee. A parent who dropped off a child called police around 9:45 p.m. after observing the activity. Two officers responded but did not see anything concerning. A second call came in minutes before the shooting began.

Garrett stated that the shooting occurred across the street from his building. He has spoken with the families of the injured and is coordinating with police, who have not yet made any arrests. Garrett said the party was not the cause of the shooting but emphasized the need for the community to identify the individuals responsible.

Nashville Crime Stoppers is seeking information about the incident. The public can call 615-742-7463 to provide details. Callers may remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
