Clarksville Police Seize 18 Guns and $20,000 After Warrant Executions

Clarksville Police have completed a month-long investigation that yielded the seizure of 18 firearms, a large quantity of drugs, and approximately $20,000 in cash.

The inquiry began on September 20 when officers from the Special Operations Unit made voluntary contact with Alex Zermeno. That initial interaction occurred while the team was responding to a separate call for service. The department states that this contact developed into a focused investigation. On October 16, agents executed two search warrants at locations in Clarksville. These actions resulted in the arrests of Jordyn Brooks and Jaylan Brooks.

Investigators recovered 18 guns during the operation. Police noted that two of the seized weapons were allegedly converted to fire in fully automatic mode. In addition to the firearms, officers took a large amount of narcotics into evidence. Investigators also counted about $20,000 in currency found at the scenes. The department has not yet released the specific criminal charges filed against the two arrested individuals. Officials also did not state whether additional arrests are expected from the ongoing case.
