Thirteen thousand seven hundred seventy-two Google reviews gave Tropicana Field an average rating of 4.46 stars as of October 28.
That score placed the St. Petersburg stadium last among the 30 Major League Baseball ballparks analyzed by playcasino.com. The result put the venue one one-hundredth of a star behind Miami's loanDepot park, which recorded 4.47 stars. Playcasino.com calculated the rankings using the volume of one- through five-star reviews. The site used the share of one-star reviews to break ties.
Recent criticism focused on the physical state of the building. The analysis reviewed 34 one- and two-star comments posted since October 28, 2025. Thirteen of those specific comments described the ballpark as old, dark, or run-down. One October reviewer stated the facility falls short of the standards expected of Major League Baseball in this day and age.
Positive feedback continued to arrive from other patrons. The website examined 87 recent five-star reviews. Thirty-one of those comments praised the atmosphere or the experience of attending a game. An additional 29 reviews highlighted the food quality.
Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, held the top position in the league. The analysis assigned Fenway an average of 4.78 stars.
