Jay-Z will perform the Super Bowl halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium.
Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s production company, has partnered with the NFL to produce the halftime event since 2019. The rapper serves as a primary decision-maker for the lineup and selected himself for the 2027 slot. The NFL has not yet determined which two teams will compete in the championship game, a decision scheduled for the final day of January.
While the headliner is confirmed, the guest list remains unannounced. Industry observers note that Jay-Z frequently collaborates with other artists, making the inclusion of special guests likely. Four specific names have emerged as probable candidates based on professional history and recent public appearances.
Beyonce, Jay-Z’s wife, is the most frequently cited option. The couple married in 2018 and have shared the stage on multiple occasions, including the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show where she performed with Coldplay and Bruno Mars. Beyonce also sang the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2001 and headlined the NFL’s Christmas Day game in Houston in 2024.
Rihanna is another strong contender. Jay-Z, then CEO of Def Jam, discovered her in 2005, and she later signed with Roc Nation in 2010. The two collaborated on tracks such as 'Umbrella' and 'Run This Town.' Rihanna recently joined Jay-Z on stage at Yankee Stadium during his current tour. She also headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.
The list includes Jay-Z’s daughter, Blu Ivy Carter. She has performed as a dancer during her mother’s 2024 NFL halftime appearance and on the Cowboy Carter tour. Blu Ivy is a regular attendee at NFL games with her father and has developed a dedicated fanbase at live events.
Eminem rounds out the group of likely guests. He recently joined Jay-Z on stage during the current tour. The two collaborated on the song 'Renegade' for the album The Blueprint. Eminem appeared as a special guest at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, joining a hip-hop lineup that included other major artists.
